TRIUMPH Thunderbird Storm Review

Triumph has a launched a Thunderbird, it is a stripped down version of the thunderbird models; it comes with a distinctive look and an extra more power. The new black paint job are available with an exciting feature, the motorcycle has a unique style with a iconic twin headlight and tasty exhaust pipes. Thunderbird Storm is built with a pretty good comfort with an impressive riding position for the rider. The seating of the bike is with a great comfortable seat, the handlebars are ergonomic with an exciting feel while riding the motorcycle. It is an excellent cruiser motorcycle of the triumph brand, it is an award winning thunderbird motorcycle, and the storm is very high specified standard built in.

Thunderbird storm has a more attitude with a great performance and a perfect complemented styling. It is a power packed cruiser motorcycle of mighty punch, with a smoother and clean riding experience for the rider. The antilock braking system offers an extra safety and security for the both rider and pillion. The engine delivers a maximum power and provides a great performance, the chassis offers effortless compliment look of the bike. The seat of the motorcycle is even more comfortable with a wide range seat accessories are equipped.

The electronic instrumentation displays the analogue speedometer, analogue tachometer, electric start, analogue two trip-meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator and low battery indicator. The digital fuel gauge, pillion seat, pillion footrest, Pillion Grabrail, stand alarm, Stepped Seat, Antilock Braking System, clock, turn signal and pass light are available in the motorcycle. The available colors are Jet Black and Matt Black.

It comes with a 270º firing interval, Parallel-twin, DOHC, and liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 1699cc, the maximum power of 96.6 bhp @ 5200 rpm and torque of 156 Nm @ 2950 rpm. The fuel system is Multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and progressive linkage on throttle, the electronic ignition is of digital CDI ignition. The six speed transmission gear box which control the flow of the engine. The Final drive is gears with a Toothed Belt. The clutch is of wet, light action and multi-plated clutch with a multi disc. The chassis type is Tubular Steel with a twin spine, swingarm is Twin-sided and steel.

The front suspension is Showa 47mm forks and 120mm travel, the rear suspension is Showa chromed spring twin shocks with 5 position adjustable preload and 95mm rear wheel travel. The front wheel is made up Cast aluminum alloy 5-spoke 19 x 3.5 in and tyre size is 120/70 R19, and the rear wheel is Cast aluminum alloy 5-spoke 17 x 6 in and tyre size is 200/50 R17. The braking system is, the front brake is Twin floating discs. Nissin four-piston fixed calipers, ABS available and with a diameter of 310mm, and the rear brake is Single disc, Brembo two-piston floating caliper, ABS available and with a diameter of 310mm. The battery has a free maintenance. The electrical system offers a bulb with a Multi-Reflector Type headlight with 55/60 W; the headlight gives you a good vision on the road. The capacity of fuel tank is 22 liters.
