Aprilia SRV 850 ABS Review

Aprilia has launched the SRV 850 ABS classic motorcycle comes with a powerful engine and first class performances. This bike has been redefined in the scooter types. The new version of SRV 850 ABS comes with anti lock braking system and the ATC electronic control system. Now a days the bikes are manufactured with the fully safety for the latest electronic equipment are launched, for SRV 850ABS also equipped with that latest electronics. The technical characteristic are unique, the enhanced bold line dynamic scooter. It is extremely style looking motorcycle, and high lightened triple headlight gives a clear vision on road surfaces, the light are top fairing element of the scooter. The rear light assembled in LED technology, two aluminum half-handlebars and instrumental panel which completely the multifunction display which used by the sports bike concept.

It comes with a four strokes, V-twin engine with the displacement of 839cc, the maximum power of 76 CV @ 7.750 rpm and torque of 76,4 Nm at 6.000 rpm. The CVT transmission controls the engine power, and it has been mounted on the double cradle steel frame. The v twin 90 is first time installed in the maxi scooter, for better performance and for fast going. The fuel system is of electronic injection with Ø 38 mm single body, liquid cooled.

The frame is consisting of Double cradle in high strength tubular steel for an easy handling.  The front suspension is 41 mm diameter of hydraulic telescopic fork with straight stanchions and set-back pin (122 mm wheel vertical travel) is very useful for the rider. The rear suspension is of with seven-position spring preload adjustment, hydraulic monoshock, laterally mounted and horizontal. The braking system has developed, the front brake is of double, 300 mm diam. stainless steel discs with semi floating is of two Brembo double piston 28 mm diam.

Floating calipers and the rear brake is of 280 mm  stainless steel disc and 25.4 mm  double piston caliper are placed. The wheel is manufactured in aluminum alloy front 16 x 3.50 and rear 15 x 4.50 for easy balancing the motorcycle. The tires are made with a tubeless front provides 120/70-R16” – 57H and rear provides 160/60-R15” – 67H, tubeless tire always gives you a long usages. The dimension of the scooter has a length 2.237 mm Width 790 mm Wheelbase 1.593 mm Seat height 780 mm. the weight of the scooter is 249 kg but it is little bit inconvenient for handling the heavy weight. The fuel capacity of the scooter is 18.5 liters.
