Kawasaki Z1000 Review

Kawasaki has launched a Z1000; it is a debuted EICMA motorcycle with a new powerful engine which combines with the new exhaust internals. The new fuel tank equipped with a new design language. The Kawasaki has street fighter style with significant bodywork on the motorcycle. The design language is Sugomi styling, with an amazing log ignition keys and motif seat cover. The perfect powerful engine is flexible, aggressive and a legendary motorcycle. The handling of the motorcycle is of superb grip and reliability, the styling has been sculpted with a stunning design. The LED headlight has a new reflector-less design, the motorcycle is futuristic, slim looking with a highly excellent riding position for the rider.

The key feature of the motorcycle is aggressive unique Sugomi styling with a distinct look and feel, the motorcycle comes with a impressive engine big piston forks for adjustable and excellent riding, one piece mono-block radial mount front brake caliper, six spoke super sport lightweight aluminum wheel, compact sub frame new design with new styling, ECU setting are more aggressive, the LCD function also includes the ABS and (ECO) Economical Riding indicators, the silencer is of brushed metal finish. The electronic instrumentation LCD displays the Digital speedometer, digital tachometer, electric start, digital two trip-meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator and low battery indicator. The digital fuel gauge, pillion seat, pillion footrest, stand alarm, Stepped Seat, Antilock Braking System, kill-switch, clock, turn signal and pass light are available in the motorcycle. The available colors are Black Golden Blazed Green and Metallic Graphite Gray.

It comes with a four stroke, four valves per cylinder, inline-four, DOHC, and liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 1,043cc, the maximum power of 139 bhp @ 10000 rpm and torque of 111 Nm @ 7300 rpm. The common compression ratio is of 11.8:1, the fuel system is of Electronic DFI® with four 38mm Keihin throttle bodies with an oval sub-throttles. The electronic ignition is of digital advance of TCBI. The six speed transmission gear box which control the flow of the engine. The Final drive is gears with an X-Ring Chain. The clutch is of wet, light action and multi-plated clutch with a multi disc. The chassis type is Backbone and high-tensile steel tubes and cast aluminum.

The front suspension is 41 mm inverted SFF-BP fork with step-less compression and rebound damping of  spring preload adjustability, the rear suspension is mono-shock with stepless rebound damping and remotely adjustable spring preload The front tyre is made up of 120/70 ZR17, and the rear tyre is 190/50 ZR17. The braking system is of anti lock braking system, the front brake is Dual  petal-type rotors with radial-mount four-piston mono-block calipers and with a diameter of 310mm, the rear brake is Single  petal-type rotor with single-piston caliper and with a diameter of 250mm. The battery has a free maintenance. The electrical system offers a bulb with a Xenon type headlight; the headlight gives you a good vision on the road. The capacity of fuel tank is 17 liters.
