TRIUMPH Tiger 800 XC Review

Triumph has launched a Tiger 800 XC, this motorcycle is a SE version of triumph, and special equipment is implemented in the bike. Tiger 800 XC is very strong and structure of light weight simplifies the displacement of the engine and components, with a good maintenance. The new pack of special off road equipment are built for continues run out of tarmac. The motorcycle has a lot of muscular power and torque for the excellent performance. Tiger 800 XC has a genuine off road capability, which provides you a pretty good riding position and extra large seating space. The handling power of the bike is very excellent stability for the sports rider.

The special feature offers traction control which gives you a safety and confidence in all slippery condition, cruise control provides long distance ride with fuel efficiency, standard switchable anti lock braking system, immobilizer system, a ride-by-wire throttle system, tubeless tyres, adjustable aerodynamic designed screen, 12V power socket, adjustable seat height for comfort ability, Explorer Pannier System, Fog Light Kit offers high performance, Fabricated steel engine bars, Alloy Belly Pan style, High Touring Screen Quantum Coated and Heated Grips. The electronic instrumentation LCD multi functional displays the Digital speedometer, analogue tachometer, electric start, digital two trip-meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator and low battery indicator. The digital fuel gauge, pillion seat, pillion footrest, Pillion Grabrail, stand alarm, Antilock Braking System, clock, turn signal and pass light are available in the motorcycle. The available colors are Matt Khaki Green, Crystal White and Phantom Black.

It comes with a 12 valve, in-line three-cylinder, DOHC, and liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 799cc, the maximum power of 93.7 bhp @ 9300 rpm and torque of 79 Nm @ 7850 rpm. The fuel system is of Multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection, the electronic ignition is of digital CDI ignition. The six speed transmission gear box which control the flow of the engine. The Final drive is gears with a O-Ring Chain. The clutch is of wet, light action and multi-plated clutch with a multi disc. The chassis type is Tubular steel trellis frame, swingarm is Twin-sided and cast aluminium alloy.

The front suspension is KYB Showa 45mm upside down forks and 220mm travel, the rear suspension is Showa monoshock with remote oil reservoir with hydraulically adjustable preload and rebound damping adjustment of 215mm rear wheel travel. The front wheel is made up aluminium rim, 36-spoke 21 x 2.5in and size is 90/90 21, and the rear wheel is aluminium rim, 32-spoke 17 x 4.25in and size is 150/70 R17. The braking system is, the front brake is Twin floating discs, Nissin two-piston floating calipers and ABS available and with a diameter of 308mm, and the rear brake is Single disc, Nissin single piston floating caliper and ABS available and with a diameter of 255mm. The battery has a free maintenance. The electrical system offers a bulb with a Multi-Reflector Type headlight with 55/60 W; the headlight gives you a good vision on the road. The capacity of fuel tank is 19 liters.
