KTM 200 Duke Review

Ktm has launched a RC 390 with a design language which has been inspired from the track machine; the style of the motorcycle is very aggressive and aerodynamic looks. The latest new twin headlamp are placed and fitted with a projector lamp on the front of the motorcycle and the lamps runs of the daytime also, the windshield is of aerodynamic style which provide you a deflecting winds while riding in the high speed. The motorcycle comes with a instrumental cluster is of LCD multi information digital display unit, it display the details of the motorcycle, Rpm alert, gear level, fuel gauge and the information of service reminder. The motorcycle is very aggressive and sporty looks, and impressive riding position and handling; it also combines the latest advanced control. The design of the fuel tank is quite looking awesome, it is a perfect sports looking motorcycle. The seat offers a splitting seat model and it provide you an excellent riding position for bother rider and the pillion. It is an original racing bike looks, with integrated bodywork are done.

The motorcycle has been launched recently in Indian market and it got the excellent review from the people, the nature of the motorcycle is too different with nice handling. This RC series delivers the maximum riding performance with an exciting thrilling experience. The pricing of the motor cycle is aggressive; the parts of the bike are assembled in India. The styling of this super sports bike is quite brilliant, it has been made with a racing DNA. The body of the motorcycle design is fully color attractive designs and graphics are implemented in the bike.

All sports rider are interested and loves this bike because of this funky looks and feel. The main disadvantages are the grab bar is not available in the motorcycle; the grab bar is required mainly for Indian road condition. The fuel tank of the bike is muscular looking style, shows the sportiness of the bike and spilt seat design for comfortable position in seating for both rider and the passenger.

It comes with a single cylinder, four strokes, and water cooled engine with displacement of 373cc, the maximum power of 43 bhp @ 9000  rpm and torque of 35 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The six speed transmission controls the flow of the bike. The lubrication of the engine is forced oil lubrication with a two eaton pumps. The primary gear ratio is of 30:80 and the secondary gear ratio is of 15:45, the cooling system of the engine will continuously circulation are done and cooling the engine with a water pump. The motor cycle clutch is very easy to handle because of clutch is made up of wet multi disc clutch and it’s mechanically operated. The ignition system is contactless, it’s easy to control, it is full of electronic system with a digital ignition timing are adjusted.

The frame of the bike is tubular Tubular space frame made from chrome molybdenum steel, with a powder-coated. The WP fork suspension is upside downside and WP shock absorber monoshock , the suspension travel 125mm in front and rear is 150mm. The braking system of the in front brake is four pot brake caliper with a diameter of 300mm, the rear brake is one pot brake calipers with a floating brake, the diameter is of 230mm. The weight of the motorcycle is 147kg with light handling.
