DUCATI has launched a new Ducati Diavel, it comes with an impressive engine and it’s very strong, fast and agile. It looks very stylish and provides you with an excellent performance of easy handling. The amazing handlebar makes you an exciting feel once you touch the handlebar. The design of the motorcycle is more powerfully sophisticated design at the 210kg weight. There are Ducati traction control three riding modes are available in this motorcycle namely sports, urban and touring. The concept of the Ducati Diavel comes from the basic instinct design, the sketching shapes work are inspired. The design of the motorcycle is made with a confidence and with superiority, there are no-comprises on making the attitude of Diavel design.
The motorcycle is built with the innovative technology of electronic riding modes, the modes can be changed on driving. The urban riding mode is used to ride in the street and it gives confidence to ride. The touring riding mode goes very smoother, and delivers the high power; it suits for long distance driving and its user friendly. The sports mode goes for maximum power of acceleration and this mode is used in track riding. The motorcycle engine is very smooth, effortless and comfortable riding for the rider. The feature offers split level instrumentation handlebar mounted instrumentation LCD displays the, rpm, speed, time and coolant temp. The warning light shows Neutral, high-beam, turn signals rev-limit, ABS status, DTC intervention, oil pressure and fuel reserve. Tank mounted instrumentation of TFT color displays the air temp, gear selected, trips 1 & 2, battery voltage, average and actual fuel consumption and, trip time, speed and scheduled maintenance. The fully management of riding modes is DTC, RbW and ABS.
It comes with a four valves, Testastretta 11°, L twin cylinder, desmodromic, and liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 1198cc, the maximum power of 159 bhp @ 9500 rpm and torque of 127 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The common compression ratio is of 11.5:1, the fuel injection is of electronic fu8el injection system with an elliptical throttle bodies with a RBW. The exhaust system is lightweight two-one-two system with a catalytic converter and two lambda probes and a Twin aluminium muffler. The six speed transmission gear box which control the flow of the engine. The primary drive is straight cut gears and with a ratio of 1.84:1, the final drive is front sprocket 15and rear sprocket 43. The clutch is of wet, light action and multiplated clutch with a hydraulic control, the self servo action on the drive with a slipper action on over ride. The frame of the engine is made up of Tubular steel Trellis frame is very strong.
The front suspension is Marzocchi 50mm fully adjustable usd forks, and the rear suspension is progressive linkage with fully adjustable monoshock of Remote spring preload adjustment with an aluminum single sided swingarm. The front wheel has a 14-spoke in light alloy 3.50 x 17 and wheel travel is 120mm (4.7in), and the rear wheel is 14-spoke in light alloy 8.00 x 17 and wheel travel is 120mm(4.7in). The front tyre is made up of 120/70 ZR 17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso II, and the rear tyre is 240/45 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso II. The braking system is of anti lock braking system, the front brake is semi-floating discs with radially mounted Monobloc Brembo calipers and four-piston with ABS and with a diameter of 320mm, the rear brake is two-piston floating caliper with ABS and with a diameter of 265mm. the capacity of fuel tank is 17 liters.
