Bajaj has launched a New Avenger 220, it comes with a latest upgrades with a new feature. The motorcycle has elegante style and design with an excellent handling power with a larger win-shield. The low saddle height seating of bucket sear for comfort ability with a fatigue free riding, the low center gravity is for better road grip with a good stability, the road holding characteristic is of wide tyres on front and rear and the bigger front disc brakes helps for good stopping power with a confidence.The styling of the motorcycle is of dynamic cruiser look with a classic tank set chrome style, the sculpted beautiful tank with a retro feel. The DTS-I engine is of twinspark which produces the maximum performance with a decent fuel efficiency.
The motorcycle comes with a TRICS III system ultra powerful light, ultimate styling and oil cooled engine. The instrumentation displays the analogue speedometer, analogue tachometer, electric start, analogue trip meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator and low battery indicator.
The fuel gauge, turn light, pass light, pillion seat, pillion footrest and pillion grab-rail, stepped seat and kill-switch are available in the motorcycle. The available colors are Plasma Blue, Cocktail Wine Red and Midnight Black. It comes with a four stroke, four valves, single cylinder, DTS-i, and air cooled engine with a displacement of 220cc, the maximum power of 19 bhp @ 8400 rpm and torque of 17 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The fuel delivery system is of Carburetor. The electronic ignition is of Digital Twin Spark Ignition.The manual five speed gear box with a chain drive transmission. The front suspension is of Telescopic, the rear suspension is Hydraulic Shock Absorber.
