TRIUMPH Tiger Explorer Review

Triumph has launched a Tiger Explorer; it is a nifty motorcycle which suits for the both off road ride and street riding. The Tiger Explorer is very reliable, tough and efficiency, this motorcycle is mainly made for the adventure, and it provides the long distance comfortable, rugged dependability with a powerful engine. The handling power of the bike is very excellent stability for the sports rider. The motorcycle is built with a latest technology and offers a long adventures riding. The shaft drive of the motorcycle delivers a smoother power performance and absorbs the shocks and knocks.

The design languages of the motorcycle are design for the comfort ability for both rider and pillion, it ensures the full safety for the rider. The special feature offers traction control which gives you a safety and confidence in all slippery condition, cruise control provides long distance ride with fuel efficiency, standard switchable anti lock braking system, immobilizer system, a ride-by-wire throttle system, tubeless tyres, adjustable aerodynamic designed screen, 12V power socket, adjustable seat height for comfort ability, Explorer Pannier System, Fog Light Kit offers high performance, Fabricated steel engine bars, Alloy Belly Pan style, High Touring Screen Quantum Coated and Heated Grips.

The electronic instrumentation displays the Digital speedometer, analogue tachometer, electric start, digital two trip-meter, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator and low battery indicator. The digital fuel gauge, pillion seat, pillion footrest, Pillion Grabrail, stand alarm, Stepped Seat, Antilock Braking System, clock, turn signal and pass light are available in the motorcycle. The available colors are Sapphire Blue, Graphite and Crystal White/Matt Graphite.

It comes with a 12 valve, in-line three-cylinder, DOHC, and liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 1215cc, the maximum power of 135 bhp @ 9300 rpm rpm and torque of 121 Nm @ 6400 rpm. The fuel system is of Ride by wire and fuel injection, the electronic ignition is of digital CDI ignition. The six speed transmission gear box which control the flow of the engine. The Final drive is gears with a Shaft Chain. The clutch is of wet, light action and multi-plated clutch with a multi disc. The chassis type is Tubular steel trellis frame, Swingarm is Single-sided and cast aluminium alloy with shaft drive The front suspension is KYB 46mm upside down forks with an adjustable preload and 190mm travel, the rear suspension is KYB monoshock with remote oil reservoir, hydraulically adjustable preload with a rebound damping adjustment and 194mm wheel travel.

The front wheel is made up Cast aluminium alloy 10-spoke 19 x 2.5in and size is 110/80 R 19, and the rear wheel is Cast aluminium alloy 10-spoke 17 x 4.0in and size is 150/70 R 17. The braking system is, the front brake is Twin floating discs with a Nissin four-piston calipers and Switchable ABS and with a diameter of 305mm, and the rear brake is Single disc with a Nissin two-piston sliding caliper and Switchable ABS and with a diameter of 282mm. The battery has a free maintenance. The electrical system offers a bulb with a Multi-Reflector Type headlight; the headlight gives you a good vision on the road. The capacity of fuel tank is 20 liters.
