ROYAL ENFIELD has launched a thunderbird 500; it is an amazing fast roadster motorcycle. The characteristic of the motorcycle is agile and pretty good. The motorcycle provides you with a high range powerful performance and fuel efficiency. It has torque engine with a unique style and well designed motorcycle. The flow of the engine is very smoother with a shock absorber which reduced the shocks. The futuristic instrumental control of digital display is implemented in the motorcycle. This motorcycle offers a three shaded black colors with a 3D motifs of unique style.

The feature offers an analog speedometer, analog tachometer, electric start, digital tripmeter, Low Fuel Indicator, Low Oil Indicator and Low Battery Indicator are displayed in the LCD display panel. The digital fuel gauge, Pillion Seat, pillion footrest, pillion seat, pillion grab rail, Stand Alarm, Stepped Seat clock and kill switch are available in the motorcycle. The electrical feature of turn signal is of Hazard Light featured for the first time on an India and pass light are available in this motorcycle. It comes with a single cylinder, four stroke, twinspark, and air cooled engine with a displacement of 499cc, the maximum power of 27.2 bhp @ 5250 rpm and torque of 41.3 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The compression ration of the engine is 8.5:1; the ignition system is of digital electronic ignition. The clutch is of wet and multi-plate clutch, the gearbox is five speed transmission constant Mesh which control flow of the engine. The lubrication of the engine with wet-sump, and the fuel supplies Keihin electronic injection fuel. The chassis type is of Single down tube, using the engine as stressed member.
The front suspension is of telescopic of 41mm forks and travel is 130mm, the rear suspension is of Twin gas charged shock absorbers with a five step adjustable preloaded and travel of 80mm. the ground clearance of the motorcycle is 140mm. the wheel has a 19 inches, the front tyres is 90/90-19 and 52P MRF Zapper FM, the rear typre is 120/80-18 and 62P MRF Zapper C. the braking system of the motorcycle is disc brakes, the front brake has two piston caliper with a diameter of 280mm Disc, the rear brake has single piston calipers with a diameter of 240mm. the battery are 12volt, 14 AH, this battery has a free maintenance. The head lamp of the motorcycle is projection type headlamp is of H7 55 / 55 W. the tail lamp are of LED lamp which guides the light position. The fuel capacity of the motorcycle is 20 liters.
